Introducing the One-on-one Dispute Resolution Process: Conflict Coaching
Conflict coaching, a widely recognized professional development intervention, was a hot topic at the ACR Conference in Atlanta this October. Join us for our November 18 meeting and hear nationally renowned authors, Tricia S. Jones (Temple University) and Ross Brinkert (PSU, Abington) discuss their new book, Conflict Coaching: Conflict Management Strategies and Skills for the Individual (Sage Publications, 2008). Come and hear why these experts anticipate that conflict coaching will shortly parallel mediation as a core intervention in our field.
Registration fee is $22.00 which includes dinner and a non-alcoholic beverage.
This is our annual meeting. It is very important that as many members as possible attend so that we may have a bona fide election of officers and directors. You must be a member of national ACR to serve on our board of directors or in an officer role. If you are interested please email a member of the nominating committee: Ed Blumstein at Edmediates@hotmail.com, Cheryl Cutrona at Ccmed8r2@aol.com, or Brenda Wolfer at Brenda@center4resolutions.org.
To register, send a check payable to “GDVC-ACR”
For receipt no later than Monday, November 16, 2009 to:
